I am a current Sophomore Student-Athlete at Tufts University studying Economics. I have a high level of proficiency in math, scoring a 770/800 on the math section of the SAT (top 3%), taking college and high school-level calculus and algebra throughout high school. I have an intermediate level of proficiency in Latin I have taken it since high school at the AP level and currently in college. In high school, I was awarded the honor roll every semester, and in college, I was awarded with Dean's List every semester. Also, I am a designated AP scholar because of my excellent performance on several AP tests in high school.
I have experience with younger students volunteering at an underprivileged children's center. I was an assistant teacher who aided the kids in activities and lessons. I helped the kids with their classwork, projects, and homework. In addition to this, I was a summer camp counselor and lifeguard, interacting with and looking after kids during their activities. In teaching students, I will get their homework and lesson plans and complete them before the lesson, allowing me to master the topics at hand. During our session, I will guide the student through the work and give additional practice to master the lesson and topics. I will be available for additional questions via Wyzant messages and will send supplemental practice and helpful videos.
