Hello, my name is Hyojung Leann.

When I was in Seoul, I used to teach piano to students who wanted to pursue a music major in college or to trainees aspiring to debut as idols or singers.
The college I attended is the Art and Design department at Kyung-hee University, which is a very prestigious college in South Korea, also where many artists and actors have studied.
Because of this background, I am very interested in Korean culture, especially its music. If you are a K-pop fan, we can talk about a lot of things.
Once I moved to the US and became a graduate student, I started teaching Korean Language at the Direct Independent Language Study program at the University of Miami. I met numerous undergraduate and graduate students from diverse backgrounds and age groups. Teaching college-level students, I discovered my talent for teaching Hangeul, and my students truly enjoyed my classes. This experience greatly benefited me in starting my own classes and curriculum.
Since then, I have experienced the rewards and enjoyment of teaching Hangul.
I am comfortable teaching online lessons one-on-one, from 7-year-olds (if the student can focus on online communication) to adults.
