I hold a BA in Political Science and International Economics from Beloit College, a Doctorate of Law from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Law and an MBA from The College of William and Mary Mason School of Business. I graduated with my doctorate in 2 years and earned my MBA, Magna Cum Laude. I have written over a dozen articles on the nature of the legal industry both from a human capital standpoint as well as purely financial. I have served in higher education and previously as the Director of Talent Acquisition for a major, multi-state US Law Firm.
Prior to this, I served as an American History teacher for the Okeechobee County School District. While in this position, I worked with students from various socio-economic backgrounds-often migrants whose parents spoke no English. My teaching/tutoring method can best be described as meeting the students where they are. Acknowledging that each student learns differently and adapting my approach to reflect this has allowed me to develop long lasting bonds with my former students that extends to today.
