I am Diana, originally born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon. Arabic is my native language. I am here to share the passion I have for it with YOU! I am here to offer you the opportunity to connect to the sensation that it carries.
Therefore, I use a lot of hand on tools to help you. I don't teach it the traditional way. I use pictures, songs, videos..
What has helped me thrive in this carrier, is the way I deliver and exchange the information with you. I believe learning is fun, and I believe the only way it is truly integrated is when it is taught with love and uplifting energy.
Here's a brief history about my experience:
I moved to the US in 2009 and I started working for Rosetta Stone/ IXL since 2011 teaching Arabic up until today! I have worked all these years with professional adults who work (or plan to work) in Arabic countries such as CEOs, Doctors, Engineers.. I also taught diplomats all over the world. In addition, I also worked with government employees with the UN, FBI.. I helped a number of students who started with 0 Arabic knowledge and became fluent. It takes a team effort here and if you have the WILL, you have the WAY. I only take students who are fully committed and who share the same passion to learn. If I sense that a student isn't fully dedicated, I respectfully decline the job.
I took my Teaching Degree as I was pursuing my Psychology Degree at Saint Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon. I worked for 5 years with children teaching Arabic and French. Then I worked with adolescents with Autism at the Lebanese Autism Society for a year. I love to learn and teach, and I love to be around people.
I LOVE what I do, and I look forward to help YOU not only learn Arabic but THRIVE in it!!
