Hello, my name is Caden and I have always been rather gifted in the area of mathematics. Ever since the 6th grade, I was placed in the GEM math program, which put me two grades ahead of my peers in the subject of math. I had all of the math credits I needed to graduate HS by the 10th grade, yet I didn't want my peers to surpass me so I kept taking more math classes. I took Probability & Statistics in the 11th grade and then AP Statistics in the 12th grade. Afterwards, I pursued a Bachelors in...
Afterwards, I pursued a Bachelors in Math from Florida Gulf Coast University, with a minor in Statistics. I graduated from FGCU Magna Cum Laude in 2020. I took math classes such as College Algebra, Precalculus, Calculus I-III, Applied Statistics, Differential Equations, Mathematical Foundations, Complex Variables, Discrete Math, Linear Algebra, and Analysis I-II.
The fall after I graduated from FGCU, I began my first semester of graduate school at the University of Colorado Boulder, where I studied Applied Mathematics which was mostly Statistics and Data Science. I graduated from Boulder with a 3.85 GPA in 2022, then I worked as a data analyst for a year in finance.
I first began tutoring while I was at FGCU when I tutored essentially all of the math subjects that I listed above for my degree. Although, I was a Learning Assistant for Precalculus and a Teacher's Assistant for Elementary Calculus. So, the subjects I most enjoy tutoring are precalculus, elementary calculus, calculus I, statistics, college algebra, and discrete math. I could help with HS math as well, typically I have tutored people from the ages of 18-40 but I would be willing to tutor anyone regardless of their age. In the past I have done traditional tutoring where I meet up with people at their house, apartment, or library. I have also done more modern tutoring sessions over zoom or video call on the computer when needed. Usually this is to help students with their HW or tests, but if you just want to learn for the sake of learning, I can help with that too, cheers!
