I am a College Math Professor with an M.A. in Mathematics and more than 15 years of tutoring experience. Throughout my career, I have worked with middle school, high school, and college students in both one-on-one and classroom settings. In addition to teaching mathematics at the college level, I have taught and tutored students in grades 6 through 12, including honors-level coursework, and have extensive experience helping students with Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus, College Algebra, and SAT, ACT, and GRE quantitative reasoning preparation. Over the years, I have worked with students of varying skill levels, from those needing help with foundational concepts to high-achieving students preparing for advanced coursework, standardized testing, college admissions, and scholarship opportunities.

My tutoring approach focuses on helping students truly understand mathematical concepts rather than simply memorizing procedures. I begin by identifying areas where a student may be struggling and then break complex topics into clear, manageable steps. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to each individual’s learning needs and goals. I focus on communicating mathematical concepts in a way that is easy to understand and accessible. I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and developing their mathematical skills.

In addition to one-on-one tutoring, I have spent many years helping students prepare for important exams, including the SAT, ACT, and GRE. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing problem-solving skills, and strengthening their understanding of mathematics. Whether a student is preparing for an upcoming test, working to improve classroom performance, or tackling a challenging math course, I strive to provide personalized instruction that supports long-term academic growth and confidence.
