I recently earned my Bachelor’s degree in psychology and am also a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), which has given me strong experience in behavior analysis, learning strategies, and working one-on-one with individuals to build skills and confidence. My academic background includes extensive coursework in psychology, research methods, and academic writing, which I regularly apply when helping students understand complex concepts and organize their ideas clearly.
I have several years of tutoring experience in writing and English with middle and high school students, where I helped students develop stronger essay structure, grammar, and critical thinking skills. In addition to this, I have tutored fellow college students in psychology, helping them prepare for exams, understand course material, and improve their research papers.
Through my work in psychology and research, I have also had undergraduate students shadow me and have guided them through elements of the research process, including developing research questions, organizing literature, and writing academic papers. I have also created research posters for academic presentations and delivered oral presentations, which has strengthened my ability to clearly communicate research findings and complex ideas.
Much of my teaching experience has been in one-on-one settings, where I focus on breaking down complex topics into manageable steps and adapting my explanations to each student’s learning style.
