Philip does an excellent job connecting with a student and explaining Algebra.
My son struggled to understand Algebra and was falling behind. We tried a couple of tutors before making a selection. My son felt Philip explained things in the best manner for him. Philip brought him up to speed and continues to give him the much-needed support. Philip does a really nice job connecting and understanding a students frustration, he puts them at ease and has patience. Philip communicates well with not only my son. but myself. He is flexible with scheduling and generous with his time. My son who hated algebra now looks forward to his weekly time with Philip.

Philip was AMAZING!
My 15-year-old was so nervous. His regular tutor was unavailable and he had a test the next day, which he was not prepared for. I was also frustrated as his teacher had sent us a note earlier ion the week stating that he had not been doing well in class nor had he been coming to extra help sessions. After speaking with a number of online services, many which were very, very expensive, we found Philip. And what can I say, but AMAZING! My son called me after an hour and a half and was so happy. He said that Philip had helped him understand the problems in a way that he completely understood and was excited for the test! He then went on to say that he wanted Philip to help him each week, which for the price we are happy to support. Truth be told, I even picked up the phone and called Philip and thanked him. I am going to sleep much better tonight and so will my son.
