No matter the subject, my method of teaching will break down mathematics into a series of lessons that will ensure the student fully understands one concept before moving on to another. This means finding a way to make mathematics relatable to the student. Everyone learns differently, and whereas some students may take to numbers easily, others may require alternative methods, such as mixing mathematics with subjects more relatable to the student, mixing in pop culture, whatever is needed to help the student understand why mathematics is, and should be, relevant to their life.
I'm here to teach you. That means that my success is your success. Forcing you to go through hours of lessons that make you want to lock yourself in your room with your Xbox and pretend math doesn't exist isn't doing my job. I will work with you to make math, and your lessons, an interesting, hopefully fun, and intellectually challenging experience that will bring you success in your academic endeavors.
