Hello, I’m Anna! I began my college career at the University of Arkansas Community College in Batesville. I became a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and graduated as an honors student with a GPA of 3.6, receiving my Associates degree in General Education in 2023. In 2025, I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Biology from Williams Baptist University. I maintained a GPA of 3.4-3.8 through all of my years of college, graduating with a GPA of 3.47. During my time at Williams Baptist University, I took many challenging courses such as Genetics, Microbiology, Organic Chemistry I and II, General Physics I and II, and so on. I became a member of the TriBeta Honor Society, and volunteered in multiple outreach events. I also conducted many research projects, with my capstone project being a behavior research study on jumping spiders that spanned my entire final semester. I presented this research project along with scientific papers I learned to review and dissect in my Biology Seminar class, in which I earned an A.
For five years I taught multimedia art lessons. I taught 4th-12th grade students, college students, adults, seniors, and students with special needs. I taught one on one private lessons, and groups of up to 25 students at a time. Through this, I developed a teaching method that ensures each student’s needs come first. Each student has their own style of learning, and my teaching goal is to discover that learning style to tutor them as efficiently as possible. I shape my lesson plans around my student’s needs so that we can find the best way for them to comprehend difficult material. I seek to build their confidence in their learning abilities. I give students the tools they need to connect difficult topics and visualize what they are learning rather than simply memorizing. I tutor multiple subjects within Biology, and can tutor many other STEM subjects, as well as humanities, and language arts. I tutor 4th-12th grade and college students.
