Hi! I'm an Aerospace Engineering student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a multidisciplinary background spanning STEM, technology, and the arts. My expertise includes mathematics, physics, anatomy, psychology, programming, animation, writing, drawing, technical drafting, floor plans, and graphical communication. I'm also knowledgeable in sewing, film, photography, culinary arts, scuba diving, swimming, and sports and gaming strategy. I'm passionate about learning across disciplines and helping others discover connections between subjects.
I have several years of teaching experience as a scuba diving instructor at Apollo Diving Center, where I've instructed children, teenagers, and adults of varying experience levels. I've also tutored college-level psychology students, helping them navigate challenging concepts and strengthen their understanding. These experiences have taught me to adapt my instruction to different ages, learning styles, and educational backgrounds. Whether teaching technical skills, scientific principles, or creative subjects, I prioritize patience, clarity, and individualized guidance.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes genuine understanding, critical thinking, and curiosity rather than memorization. I believe any subject can become approachable when explained in a way that resonates with the student. I break complex topics into manageable steps, incorporate practical examples, and encourage questions. My goal is to create engaging, personalized lessons that build confidence, independence, and enthusiasm for learning.
Above all, I want students to leave our sessions feeling more capable, knowledgeable, and excited to explore new ideas!
