I earned my Doctorate in Pharmacy degree (PharmD) Cum Laude with a 3.62 GPA. Pharmacy school is a demanding four-year program, and study sessions with classmates were essential for success. I had a knack for understanding complex pharmacology concepts and enjoyed breaking them down into smaller, digestible pieces for my fellow students. What started as helping a friend or two eventually turned into offering free tutoring and group sessions to anyone struggling, covering pharmacology, PK/PD, biochemistry, the top 200 drugs, and drug calculations. That experience shaped how I teach today, using interactive lessons where the student becomes the teacher. I've since applied that knowledge through clinical rotations at multiple hospitals, compounding medications and working through drug calculations, as well as counseling patients and practicing the top 200 drugs in a retail pharmacy setting, sharpening my expertise with a practical, hands-on experience.

When I tutor, every session starts with active recall and a short review of prior material, so nothing gets forgotten between meetings. I pay close attention to where the student is struggling so we can focus our time where it matters most. I build custom practice questions and worksheets for each student, and we often flip the script by writing our own quiz questions and testing each other, one of the fastest ways to expose gaps in understanding. I also introduce study strategies beyond our sessions, like the Pomodoro Technique to keep self-study focused and balanced, and building a study plan together to prepare proactively for the next big exam. I come prepared with a lesson plan each week, but stay flexible enough to pivot when extra support is needed.

What matters most to me is watching a student go from confused to confident. I check messages throughout the day and can often accommodate last-minute requests, and I operate on a 24-hour cancellation policy. Feel free to reach out with any questions.

Mastering biochemical pathways became the foundation for everything else in pharmacy school, from drug metabolism to therapeutic decision-making. During clinical rotations, I applied that knowledge through evidence-based drug comparisons. I teach biochemistry not as facts to memorize, but as a framework for understanding how medications interact with the human body.

As a Doctor of Pharmacy graduate from the Taneja College of Pharmacy at USF, where I graduated Cum Laude with a 3.62 GPA, my focus with NAPLEX candidates is simple: helping students pass the exam on their first attempt. I build a personalized study plan starting three to six months before the exam date, breaking the material down into a structured timeline so nothing gets rushed or left until the last minute. Each week, I work with students to review strengths and weaknesses in the content, pivoting and adjusting the study plan as needed. I also create customized worksheets and quizzes, working through practice questions to identify weak spots early. Every session reinforces material from previous weeks through active recall, and creating test questions for each other. My goal is to work alongside my students every step of the way through their NAPLEX prep, so by the time exam day arrives, they feel confident knowing they put their best foot forward.

I passed the same demanding curriculum my students are working through now, including pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, drug calculations, the top 200 drugs, therapeutics, compounding, and patient counseling. Beyond the classroom, I applied these concepts directly during clinical rotations and hands-on pharmacy work, which reinforced not just what to know, but how to apply it under real-world conditions. I understand which courses tend to trip students up, why certain concepts feel overwhelming at first, and how to break them down until they click. My goal is to help students pass each individual course with genuine understanding, building the foundation they need not only to graduate, but to confidently choose the career path that's right for them.
