As a dedicated special needs tutor, I bring more than a decade of experience supporting learners with diverse needs across home, school, and one-on-one settings, as well as implementing telehealth services.

I am certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by the BACB and hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. My dual bachelor’s degrees in Health Sciences and Exceptional Student Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) give me advanced academic training to shape effective, evidence-based teaching methods.

My expertise extends to learners with autism, Down syndrome, and nonverbal communication needs. I have successfully implemented the VB-MAPP, ABLLS, and AFLS assessment programs and have taught students ages 4 through 21, using individualized strategies that promote both academic growth and practical life skills. My background also includes SAT tutoring and proctoring, providing structured test-prep and support for both neurotypical and neurodiverse students.

Families trust me for my patient, adaptable approach and deep understanding of behavior science. Whether developing early academic skills, building independence, or preparing for standardized exams, I am committed to helping each student unlock their unique strengths and achieve meaningful progress.

ADHD

ADHD

Over the years, I have worked closely with many students who have ADHD, getting to know their unique learning needs, challenges, and incredible strengths. I understand how ADHD can impact attention, organization, and confidence, and I’ve seen firsthand how small changes in structure or approach can unlock a student’s potential. I am dedicated to building trust, using patience, and adapting my teaching style to help ADHD learners develop focus and self-advocacy skills. Seeing a student overcome barriers and achieve personal and academic goals is the most rewarding part of my work.
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

For over ten years, I have devoted my career to supporting learners on the autism spectrum in both classroom and one-on-one settings. My experience includes working with autistic students who are verbal, nonverbal, and who have complex communication needs, allowing me to develop a deep and flexible understanding of a wide range of learning profiles. Throughout this work, I have seen the transformative power of individualized routines, visual supports, and positive reinforcement in helping students with ASD reach their unique goals. I am passionate about ensuring that every autistic learner feels valued and understood, and I take pride in celebrating each step forward—whether it’s mastering a new skill, building friendships, or simply feeling comfortable and confident during our sessions.
Executive Functioning

Executive Functioning

My work with students of all ages has given me substantial experience supporting executive functioning skills in learners who need extra help with organization, planning, task initiation, and self-management. I have seen how challenges with executive functioning can affect both academic success and daily routines, and I specialize in breaking down big tasks into manageable steps and using simple, visual strategies to promote independence. Over the years, I have taught students how to use schedules, timers, checklists, and personalized routines to improve attention and follow-through. Helping students grow in confidence as they learn to manage their time and responsibilities is one of the most rewarding aspects of my tutoring practice.
Special Needs

Special Needs

For over ten years, I have specialized in supporting special needs clients using evidence-based principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) across classroom, home, and individual settings. My experience spans a variety of diagnoses, including autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, and complex communication profiles. I utilize functional assessments, task analysis, positive reinforcement, and data-driven intervention strategies to foster skill acquisition and behavioral independence. My individualized approach prioritizes each learner’s strengths and goals, ensuring progress is both meaningful and measurable while maintaining a supportive, compassionate environment.
