I began my tutoring journey in high school, where I consistently helped my peers excel in various subjects. I graduated with high accolades, numerous scholarships, and top SAT scores, and I even qualified for the Bright Futures program. My academic journey included taking numerous AP classes and dual enrollment courses, allowing me to complete almost two years of college while still in high school.
During this time, I began tutoring my peers and eventually extended my help to younger students. For instance, I worked with an elementary school student via Zoom for over 75 hours, helping her with math while her family navigated challenging circumstances. This experience taught me the importance of adaptability and empathy in teaching.
My tutoring style is engaging and interactive, with a strong focus on ensuring that students genuinely understand the material. I believe that learning should be both fun and effective, and I always tailor my approach to each student’s needs. If a concept isn’t sticking, I’m committed to exploring different methods until it does.
Though I’ve taken a break from formal studies to focus on work, my passion for education and helping students grow remains strong. I’m excited to bring my experience and enthusiasm to help more students achieve their academic goals.
