I love helping people solve problems. One of my personal favorite moments is when a student gets a "light bulb" moment when everything just seems to click. I like to try to teach subjects using information people already know, and I enjoy turning what seems like complicated math procedures into everyday language.
I scored extremely well in all of my high school mathematics subjects, and have continued to score well in college. I have a very logical and methodical approach to math that tries to keep problems from being too complicated, and the approach has worked well for me and many of my peers in college who have asked for help.
I am very flexible with scheduling. Afternoons and evenings, and any time during the weekend, are my preferred hours, but I am willing to work around almost any schedule. I am even willing to answer emailed questions after lessons for follow up.
