I am a certified elementary educator with seven years of classroom teaching experience working with diverse learners in grades K–5. I hold a bachelor’s degree in education and have completed professional training focused on literacy development, mathematics instruction, and supporting English Language Learners. Throughout my teaching career, I have developed strong skills in differentiating instruction to meet students’ individual academic needs while building confidence and independence in learning.
My experience includes teaching reading, writing, and mathematics in a traditional classroom setting as well as providing small-group and one-on-one instruction for students who needed targeted academic support. I regularly use research-based instructional strategies such as explicit modeling, guided practice, scaffolded instruction, and progress monitoring to help students master foundational skills. I have worked with students at varying ability levels, including those needing intervention, enrichment, and additional language support, allowing me to adapt lessons to match each student’s learning style and pace.
Over the past seven years, I have taught students ranging from early elementary through upper elementary grades in both whole-group and individualized learning environments. My teaching approach focuses on creating a supportive and encouraging atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions and taking academic risks. I aim to help students strengthen foundational skills, close learning gaps, and develop confidence so they can become successful, independent learners both inside and outside the classroom.
