I hold a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Wilmington University, where I concentrated in Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS). My studies provided a strong foundation in both information technology and operational technology security, emphasizing how to protect critical infrastructure while maintaining reliability and safety. Through hands-on coursework and research, I developed skills in network defense, incident response, and secure architecture design for complex environments.

Professionally, I work remotely as a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst and Threat Hunter focusing on cybersecurity operations and threat detection. In this role, I monitor, investigate, and respond to potential security incidents across enterprise networks. My daily responsibilities include analyzing logs, building detection rules, and identifying indicators of compromise. This work has strengthened my ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable insights—an ability I bring directly into a tutoring or instructional setting.

I have a strong passion for education and mentorship, having often assisted peers and colleagues in understanding challenging cybersecurity topics such as network protocols, malware behavior, and threat intelligence. My approach to tutoring emphasizes patience, clarity, and connecting theoretical concepts to real-world practice.
