I am a certified science educator and professional hydrogeologist with a Master of Science in Earth & Environmental Resource Management and a Bachelor of Science in Earth Science with an emphasis in Hydrogeology. I taught middle school science for three years and Biology and International Baccalaureate (IB) Environmental Systems & Societies (Standard and Higher Level) for nine years at Clearwater Central Catholic High School.
I have experience teaching students from middle school through high school in both classroom and one-on-one settings. I specialize in helping students understand difficult scientific concepts through real-world examples, inquiry-based learning, and individualized instruction. I have mentored students on laboratory investigations, IB Internal Assessments, science research projects, and college-preparatory coursework.
In addition to teaching, I have more than 20 years of professional experience as a hydrogeologist and environmental consultant, managing environmental remediation projects involving groundwater, petroleum contamination, PFAS, and environmental regulations. I enjoy helping students connect what they learn in science class to real-world environmental challenges and professional applications.
