I am an Italian-American artist who was born in Puglia, a region in Southern Italy. I studied art in high school and then went on to study at Accademia di Belle Arti, a fine art institute in Lecce Italy. After earning a degree in art, with primary coursework in scenography, set design, and costume history, I moved to Lake Como in Lombardy, Italy to work as a textile designer. I have created textile designs for well-known fashion designers, such as Dolce Gabana, Versace, and Cavalli. Working in Italy was an extraordinary time for me to grow as an artist.

I was born with a strong penchant to examine the beauty of life. Every morning, I wake up with enthusiasm to bring my ideas, my art to life. Colors, objects, and shapes fascinate me. I enjoy combining concepts that are diverse. My work has been showcased in various galleries all over Italy and America. I am an artist who produces a great range of art, abstraction, hyperrealism, installation, video and fashion.

My creative influence comes from my grandmother while growing up as a child in Salento, a town in southern Italy. I would spend hours watching her weave on an old weaving loom, fascinated by the sound of the loom shuttle going back and forth, creating fabric at the rhythm of its own sound. I may add that sawing and weaving has been an integral part of women’s culture in the south of Italy for centuries.

I have come to realize now, that as I sat there watching the fabric emerge from the loom, I was experiencing an event that would mark my future direction as an artist. My grandmother was not only weaving thread, but was also weaving into the fabric her experience, her culture, and the love for her family in a creative act that can only be called art.

As a multidisciplinary artist, I employ in my practice different media, painting, installation, fashion and video, all of which I weave into my creative palette. In my work however, I strive to create art that captures the profound beauty and vulnerability of the natural world, whilst exploring the
