Algebra 1

Let's make math fun again! I've always loved math, and I believe it's because I see math problems as puzzles that need to be solved. I've tutored kids for over ten years, both privately, as well as in before and after-school programs. There's nothing quite like seeing the joy of both students and parents when grades start going up, and kids regain their confidence. I'm available both for in-person and online math tutoring.

Drums

I've been playing drums for the past 20 years. In that time, I started out playing in my high school's marching band, concert band, and jazz band, while taking private lessons. After graduating, I performed in my university's wind ensemble and started college as a Music Performance major, with drums as my primary instrument and piano as my secondary. During and after my time in high school and university, I performed professionally for various jazz, blues, and rock groups, and have toured around the country and internationally. As a teacher, I've been a drum instructor privately since 2009, and have had over 30 drum students since then, seeing a vast majority of them become skilled in the instrument. I'm also a substitute assistant teacher with the Berks County Intermediate Unit, and have a Bachelor's degree in Youth Ministry from Valley Forge Christian College. I'm comfortable teaching students of all age groups, from elementary school up through adult.

Elementary Math

Music Production

Producing music is one of the most inspiring things I've done in my life, and something I like to help others with. Using Logic Pro X, I help my students navigate the tasks of recording, mixing and mastering their own songs. Whether you want to learn the basics of producing music, or simply want help turning an idea into a song, I'm happy to join you on your journey.

Piano

My goal is to make learning an instrument fun and inspiring, and I love to bring out the creative side of my students. I have given music lessons to several hundred students over the past decade, and have extensive knowledge of music theory, technique, and songwriting. I have experience working with kids as young as 3, including students on the spectrum, and teach all ages including adults. As a musician, I was able to live out my dreams touring both in the USA as well as internationally, and have been a part of several studio albums. Now, I want to help others bring out their gifts and talents, and live out their dreams!

Prealgebra

Songwriting

Songwriting focuses on two main aspects: Writing great lyrics and creating a memorable hook. It's difficult to do both, but my goal will be to help you to create original music with a great melody, great beat, and lyrics that the listener will remember. We'll take what you write, and produce a song that you'll be proud of.
