Growing up in an academically-focused, learning-oriented household I have always been eager to read, study, and absorb information. I received a very high quality quasi-classical education that involved reading many of the great works of literature, engaging in competitive speech and debate, and years of piano practice and performance. Through the holistic educational mindset of my early education, I was uniquely equipped to graduate magna cum laude with a Bachelors of Science in Cybersecurity -- a discipline I know little about prior to college. This was possible because of the emphasis of critical thinking and problem solving that was the hallmark of my high school education.
Upon graduation I became a computer scientist with the federal government and am one month away from completing my Masters of Science in Computer Engineering from Florida International University. I love helping people and solving problems. My STEM heavy undergraduate and graduate studies are uniquely paired with a love of grammar, literature, and the arts. I tutored general computer science subjects such as calculus, statistics, and various programming languages for two years in college and am excited to get back into the swing of things. I look forward to the opportunity to share my knowledge with those who are struggling and to walk alongside students who need help.
