I work full time as an advanced ground instructor. I offer FAA Written Test Prep for various certifications, including PAR, CAX, PRH, and CRH. I’ve completed over 500 hours of tutoring outside of official records with Wyzant. As a punctual and experienced tutor, I focus on creating a structured and enjoyable learning environment. My background includes five years of honorable service in the Navy and extensive civilian flying experience with fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, and UAVs since January 2016. I hold multiple pilot certificates, including CPL, PPL, and IR for both airplanes and helicopters, as well as a Part 107 certification for drones.

In addition to my pilot qualifications, I have an Advanced Ground Instructor teaching certificate and have studied at various institutions, culminating in a Bachelor’s in Aeronautical Science with minors in Flight and UAS, along with a Bachelor’s in Geographic Information Science. I specialize in tutoring ground knowledge for Student, Private, and Commercial certificates, offering lessons online via Wyzant or Google Meet. Each session typically lasts between one to two hours, and I cater to learners aged 17 and up.

I maintain a clear cancellation and late policy, requiring a five-hour notice for cancellations. Arriving more than five minutes late will result in a charge for the full lesson. I also provide FAA written test endorsements, ensuring students meet specific criteria. I am dedicated to helping students succeed in their aviation studies, focusing solely on topics directly related to pilot certification. Certified Fixed-Wing (Airplane) and Helicopter Pilot: PPL, CPL, and Instrument in both. In the progress of Flight Instructor and AGI in both. I am also Part 107 (Drones) Certified. A Pilot is required to be educated in a wide range of subject areas. Aerodynamics and Physical Science are very similar in topics. Newton's Laws, Force, Mass, Acceleration, Atmosphere, Earth, Aerodynamics, and so on. To also include Meteorology, Engines, Propellers, Aircraft Environmental Systems, Aeronautical Maps, Velocity diagrams, Wind Triangles, Flight Instruments, Gyroscopic Precession, Aircraft components, Cabin Pressurization, Oxygen Systems, and several other topics.

Best tutor ever!

My son needs lots of help prepping for the oral portion for the PPL check ride. Brittany responded right away and was able to identify his weaknesses and explain concepts easily. She is a very experienced, patient and structured tutor. Worksheets are a plus. According to my son, best tutor ever!

Great Oral CheckRide Prep

It has been great using Brittany to help me prepare for the oral portion of my Private Pilot checkride. It's nice having some additional help beyond my current CFI. People explain things in different ways so it's great to have someone like Brittany supplement my other training. Brittany certainly knows her stuff and is fully competent to review all aspects of private pilot ground school and cover all items in the ACS. So far we've covered Pilot qualifications including privileges and limitations, currency requirements, and medical certificates. We also covered Airworthiness and Airspace. I'm looking forward to continuing the reminder of our lessons.

Britney is very knowledgable and patient on topics that she is given (performance and limitations in my case). She also gives a few tips and tricks for those pursuing their pilots license or even beyond that. In conclusion her help is definitely appreciated.
