Hello, my research/tutoring expertise is in Biblical Studies. I have extensive research experience in Historical Jesus Studies, New Testament Studies and Old Testament Studies. With the completion of my first book, an exegetical/comparative study of the canonical and non-canonical Gospels and cognate literature (e.g. Dead Sea Scrolls, Jewish Literature), I have gained invaluable research experience. My approach to research and writing is to first define the end, or goal of the assignment or research interest. For example, it is important to know what topic one is going to research. From there I have found it extremely important to outline the components of the paper or research project. That is, to have in plan a systematic approach to the topic at hand. Then, it is much easier to locate primary and secondary sources for the composition of the project. I find it helpful to note any and all observations when reading primary and secondary sources. It is then easier to then formulate a thesis based on one's finding for individual sections of the paper, and to finally tie it in with the rest of the project.
