I am known to be an efficient and patient tutor. I bring both strong subject knowledge and years of proven teaching experience to every session. With a background in Civil Engineering and an active EIT license, I have developed a deep love and understanding of mathematics, which I am passionate about sharing with my students. In addition, I previously held a professional teaching license in Florida for Physics and Math, and I have taught for over 10 years—eight of those in a brick-and-mortar classroom, along with several years of online instruction in subjects ranging from prealgebra to calculus.

My teaching style is student-centered, as I believe true understanding comes from active engagement and reasoning rather than memorization. I often use the "me, we, you" method to gradually transition responsibility from teacher-led instruction to independent student problem-solving, ensuring that learners build confidence step by step. To make content more approachable, I incorporate interactive strategies and color-coded problem breakdowns, which help students visualize and retain challenging concepts. I also encourage students to summarize what mathematic principles they have used and how they may show this to a fellow classmate to ensure he/she really understands the fundamentals.

Having worked one-on-one with students ages 11 to 18, I understand the unique challenges learners face at different developmental stages and tailor my approach accordingly. Whether teaching algebra, geometry, precalculus, calculus, or physics, I focus on fostering both skills and confidence, creating an encouraging environment where students feel capable of mastering even the toughest material.
