I have a B.S. in Mathematics and a M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction - and I am certified to teach Mathematics Grades 6 - 12.
Moreover, I have been a highly successful teacher/tutor for 10+ years and what follows are some of my most highlighted achievements: Broward County (sixth-largest school district in the nation) High School Mathematics Teacher of the Year, Monarch High School Teacher of the Year, Best and the Brightest Award Recipient for two successive years and I earned an Instructional Practice Final Score of 4.0 (Perfect Score of 44 out of 44 Innovating Marzano ratings) for the 2017-2018 school year.
I love teaching/tutoring in general and I love mathematics - thus, it’s only natural that I love teaching/tutoring mathematics! I love to encourage my students to work as hard as they possibly could so they can see how good that they can really be - and I just love it when that happens! I am exceptional at encouraging my students to never give up and at giving out well-deserved praise!
