Hi, I’m Barbara Zimmerman. For the past 15+ years, I have taught more than 1,300 people how to be better project managers through a 12-week Executive Certificate in Project Management course. I have also helped more than 1,000 professionals learn how to pass PMI’s PMP, CAPM, PMI-SP, PMI-RMP, and PMI-ACP certification exams. With more than 30 years of experience in business IT and project management, I have gained considerable expertise with Microsoft programs such as Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word and have conducted workshops or mentored individuals on each of them.
I am a Distinguished Graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management and an Honors Graduate of George Washington University with a Master of Science in Project Management. I hold four professional certifications from PMI (PMP, PMI-SP, PMI-RMP, and PMI-ACP) and a Six Sigma Green Belt certificate from Florida Atlantic University.
My students have ranged in age from recent college graduates to retirees. Many students are in transition between positions and looking to gain skills that would make them more marketable in the workplace. Others simply want to learn something new or learn how to do something better. I simply love people and I love teaching learners how to do things more efficiently and effectively, including passing professional certification exams.
Since I am now semi-retired, I have flexible hours and can usually make myself available at short notice. I look forward to working with you!
