I earned my A.A. in Biology from Valencia College in Orlando, completed upper-level biology coursework at the University of Central Florida, and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Science Education from Broward College.
I’ve spent over a decade teaching middle school science, working with gifted, GEAR, and high-achieving students. My background in biology goes well beyond the middle school level, which allows me to break down complex concepts in a way that makes sense for any student—no matter their starting point.
My teaching style is hands-on and engaging. I believe science—especially biology—is best learned through real-world examples, observation, and active participation. I also create custom study guides, practice materials, and targeted support to help students truly understand the material, not just memorize it.
Every student learns differently, so I adapt my approach to match each individual’s learning style. Whether your student needs help building confidence, mastering challenging concepts, or getting ahead, I work to make learning clear, approachable, and even enjoyable. I also incorporate technology when helpful to make difficult topics easier to visualize and understand.
Feel free to reach out with any questions—I’d be happy to help!
