I am currently a medical student at Florida Atlantic University College of Medicine with a strong academic and research background in the biomedical sciences, and I am pursuing a career in neurosurgery. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Master’s degree in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University, where my training emphasized advanced systems physiology, neuroscience, and quantitative problem-solving. I have been actively involved in neuroscience and neuroimaging research, including work with functional ultrasound and MRI-based analysis to study brain function and disease, as well as projects related to neuromodulation and deep brain stimulation. This experience has strengthened both my technical foundation and my ability to break down complex concepts into clear, structured explanations.

In addition to my academic background, I have extensive experience helping peers and younger students master challenging material in both one-on-one and small group settings. My teaching approach focuses on high-yield learning, emphasizing pattern recognition, conceptual understanding, and test-taking strategy rather than memorization alone. I tailor each session to the student’s specific needs, whether that involves reinforcing foundational concepts, preparing for exams like the MCAT, or improving problem-solving speed and accuracy.

I have worked with students ranging from high school through college and early medical training, and I prioritize creating an efficient and supportive learning environment. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades and test performance, but also to build confidence and long-term understanding of the material.

Approved Subjects

MCAT

MCAT

I scored a 519 (95th percentile) on the MCAT with balanced high performance across all sections. With a background in biomedical engineering from USC and a master’s in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown, I bring a strong foundation in the core sciences tested on the exam. My approach emphasizes high-yield learning, passage analysis, and efficient test-taking strategies to maximize score improvement. I work closely with students to identify weaknesses, simplify complex concepts, and build the skills needed to perform under timed conditions.
USMLE

USMLE

I recently passed USMLE Step 1 in March 2026 and have a strong understanding of high-yield concepts across all major systems tested on the exam. My preparation emphasized efficient learning, integration of First Aid and UWorld, and pattern recognition for NBME-style questions. I focus on helping students simplify complex material, identify key testable concepts, and develop strategies to improve performance under timed conditions. As a current medical student pursuing neurosurgery with a strong background in physiology and neuroscience, I bring both content mastery and a structured, results-driven approach to tutoring.
