Bonjour and welcome,
I’m Adrien, born in Saint-Nazaire and raised bilingual by an American father and a French mother, so I’ve always felt at home where French and English meet. For more than 15 years, I worked in the global luxury sector across France, Switzerland, and the United States, which gave me daily, real-world practice communicating in multicultural, high-expectation environments. Alongside my wife, I also provided French tutoring in France and in Geneva, Switzerland, to truly international students from all over the world, including professionals based in Geneva for organizations like the United Nations, as well as corporate directors who needed French for leadership, meetings, and everyday life.
My teaching approach is practical and conversation-driven: we focus on speaking first, then build grammar and vocabulary in context so you can communicate confidently without feeling overloaded by rules. I teach French at all levels, with a strong focus on Business French and professional communication.
In Business French lessons, I help learners handle real workplace situations such as:
- Leading and participating in meetings (interrupting politely, agreeing/disagreeing diplomatically, summarizing decisions, assigning next steps)
- Writing effective professional emails (formal vs semi-formal tone, clear structure, subject lines, follow-ups, polite but firm phrasing)
- Delivering presentations and pitches (structure, transitions, signposting, handling Q&A)
- Negotiating and client-facing conversations (proposing options, responding to objections, discussing pricing/terms with the right level of professionalism)
- Industry-specific coaching when useful—especially luxury and hospitality (brand tone, client experience, service recovery, high-standard communication)
Sessions are interactive and tailored. We can use articles, short videos, role-plays, and your real materials (emails, slide decks, meeting agendas) to make every lesson directly relevant.
A bientôt
