I have over a decade of experience as a K–12 educator and instructional leader, with a strong foundation in both Math and English Language Arts. I hold a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor’s degree in English, as well as a state-issued K–12 Teacher of English Certification. My academic background, combined with leadership roles in curriculum design and teacher coaching, has equipped me to support students across a range of grade levels and learning needs.

Throughout my career, I’ve taught students from elementary through high school in both classroom and one-on-one settings. I’ve provided direct instruction in reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and math fundamentals, and I’ve supported struggling learners using data-informed, individualized strategies. In addition to my classroom work, I’ve coached teachers in effective literacy and numeracy practices, helping them differentiate instruction and use formative assessments to guide their teaching. This experience translates directly to tutoring, where I focus on meeting students where they are and helping them build both skills and confidence.

My approach to tutoring is student-centered, structured, and adaptive. I believe in clear goal-setting, frequent check-ins, and scaffolding content in a way that empowers students to take ownership of their learning. Whether working with early readers, middle schoolers tackling fractions, or high schoolers refining their writing, I bring a calm, supportive presence and a deep commitment to helping each learner succeed.
