Education has been the focus of my career for more than nine years. I hold a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership, and I am a Florida-certified K–6 teacher with additional certifications in middle school Mathematics (5–9), middle school Science (5–9), and Educational Leadership. Throughout my career, I have taught students with a wide range of academic abilities in both traditional classroom settings and individualized learning environments. My experience includes teaching elementary math, science, reading, and other core subjects while helping students build the confidence and skills they need to become independent learners.
My teaching philosophy is simple: every student can succeed when lessons are presented in a way that matches how they learn. I believe in creating a positive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Rather than simply giving answers, I guide students through the problem-solving process so they develop a deeper understanding of the material. I tailor each lesson to the student's individual needs, whether they need help catching up, reinforcing classroom instruction, preparing for a test, or being challenged with more advanced material.
As a tutor, my goal is not only to improve grades but also to help students become more confident in their abilities. I communicate clearly, remain patient, and adjust my teaching style to meet each student's learning pace. I understand that every child learns differently, and I enjoy finding the approach that helps concepts "click." Whether I'm working with an elementary student who needs stronger foundational skills or a middle school student tackling more advanced math or science concepts, I am committed to helping each student achieve lasting success.
