After years of being an educator within the classroom and as an educational leader, nationally and internationally (in public, charter, and international school settings), I felt it was time to share my thoughts, experiences, lessons, and expertise with parents, teachers, and other educational stakeholders. As a tutor, I love having the opportunity to meet new students and help them in their personal strides towards educational success in History, Reading/LA, and Math.

I am a Doctoral Candidate of Educational Leadership and have a Master’s in Secondary Education. I have nearly 15 years in the Field of Education and 2 year of Career Advising. I spent most of my career working as a Social Studies Teacher, Special Education Teacher, and MTSS/RTI Intervention Specialist. I also home school both of my children. I have also tutored students in AP History courses.

I have worked throughout the state of Florida and internationally in Saudi Arabia, Liberia, and Sierra Leone and have travelled and volunteered in several other countries throughout the world. These experiences offer me a unique ability to provide my students with first-hand accounts on a wide range of subject matters as it relates to education.

I have a B.A. in History and a Master's in Secondary Education Social Studies. I'm Certified in the state of Florida in Social Studies 5-9, although I have taught Social Studies for grade 6-12. I enjoy teaching 6th and 10th grade World History the most. The most unique Social Studies experience I've had was teaching Saudi Arabian History without any prior knowledge of the subject matter. 100% of my students passed their end of course exams.
