Bringing a Ph.D. in Computational Mathematics, two Master’s in Math/Computer Science, and over a decade of teaching experience, I provide highly effective, targeted preparation for the TOEFL exam. As a former university professor who has coached diverse, international students, I excel at turning complex language acquisition into a structured, logical process. I guide test-takers through all four sections of the exam, focusing on high-yield topics including academic reading comprehension, integrated and independent writing structures, note-taking for lecture listening, and campus-situation speaking fluency. My analytical background allows me to teach precise time management, scoring rubric optimization, and templates to bypass test anxiety. Over ten plus years of tutoring, I have successfully helped students achieve their target scores to unlock university admissions and professional licensing globally.

Trigonometry

Bringing a Ph.D. in Computational Mathematics, two Master’s degrees (in Mathematics and Computer Science), and over ten years of teaching experience, I offer an elite, deeply intuitive approach to tutoring Trigonometry. My background as both a university math professor and an industry software engineer allows me to transform complex geometric relationships into clear, logical frameworks. I guide students through core topics, including unit circles, trigonometric identities and proofs, graphing functions, laws of sines and cosines, and applications of trigonometry. My decade of tutoring experience ensures that whether a student is mastering basic right-triangle ratios or evaluating advanced trigonometric equations, they build the rigorous visualizations and problem-solving skills that are needed to excel in their future studies.

Extremely knowledgeable and well rouded

Ms. Nina was by far one of the best tutors I have had the pleasure of learning under on this platform. Her wealth of knowledge and sophisticated learning tactics are second to none. I could not have passed my class with an A had it not been for her unwavering support and availability.

Outstanding LSAT Tutor

Ms. Nina has been an outstanding LSAT prep tutor so far. Her knowledge of the exam's structure and reasoning patterns is extensive, and she breaks down complex logical reasoning and reading comprehension passages in a way that's easy to follow and apply. She's patient, adapts her teaching approach based on where I was struggling, and consistently pushed me to improve. I've had a genuinely great experience working with her and would recommend her.

Nina is a rare gem

I drove over 12 hours and she met with me in person to give me one-on-one instruction in datasets, AI business scaling, linear regression, and computer science applications to my homework assignments. She taught me Python from the ground up. I have severe ADHD and leaning difficulties in my adult years. Nina is hyper focused on completing the task at hand and is determined in making sure the student makes an A on their assignment. She understands the needs of some students and works patiently in explaining each task, so that it is understandable. Nina helped me land a job with Tesla with her aid in helping me complete my assignments accurately. I not only got an experienced tutor, but I got a friend fir life with Ms. Nina. I will forever be grateful for Ms. Nina.
