ADHD

I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. I have also been diagnosed with ADHD since my childhood, as well as various other conditions that often complement ADHD. I have vast experience and knowledge on how to succeed in academics with ADHD while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Many times, I have also advised students with ADHD who I tutor on how to build an effective academic and social support network to help complement their learning experience.

Biology

Hi my name is Noah. I recently graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Sciences. I have vast experience in university biomed GED coursework that includes Biology I and Chemistry I & II. I also worked as an undergraduate tutor for UCF's excel program for those subjects as well. My goal as your tutor is to not only help you succeed in your class, but also show you some methodical approaches to studying for difficult courses that will help you better prepare for future coursework :)

Calculus

As an LA for my college's Calculus I course, I hosted after-hour study sessions with students, one-on-one after-hour tutoring sessions, and quiz/exam reviews. I like to visually map out/explain difficult concepts in the simplest terms possible as well as show every step in my calculations to better assist students who may not have a strong foundation in prerequisite courses (pre-calc/algebra). As an LA working with an incredible team, my class succeeded in achieving higher-than-average test scores and overall performance compared to previous semesters. Overall, my students reported feeling more confident in their problem-solving skills and more engaged with the material.

College Counseling

I recently graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. In addition to my tutoring responsibilities, I also assisted my students in college counseling. I would go as far as to review their entire multi-year plan and discuss with them what and how many courses I recommend them to take based on their work ethic, academic capabilities, and other responsibilities, such as extracurriculars or part-time work that they intend on participating in. I've also assisted students with navigating their office of financial aid in response to uncontrollable situations where they had to withdraw from their courses during an active semester.

Computer Science

I am currently working in Maitland, Florida, as a software engineer. Additionally, I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. I have experience in project management, technical development, various programming languages, and undergraduate computer science coursework.

English

Hi, my name is Noah. While I am a computer science graduate, I have a lot of experience in tutoring and helping students draft and complete various types of essays, research papers, and proposals. I like to provide a methodical approach when I teach English-based subjects, so that students can better understand the planning processes and ultimately learn how to approach and succeed in writing complex papers on their own :)

Machine Learning/ AI

I'm currently working as an entry level AI engineer where I have experience developing machine learning models using traditional methods such as scikit-learn, Pandas, tensorflow, and pytorch, as well as incorporating applied AI into applications through APIs.

PHP

From my course experience, I worked as a lead/full-stack developer for multiple projects that required the use of a LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP). I personally worked on every aspect of the stack, including but not limited to PHP API endpoints that communicated with the frontend, as well as a Python backend in one of my other projects that was entirely custom-built.

Project Management

I have both coursework and professional experience with Jira and Agile methodologies. I've demonstrated proficiency in project management skills, tools, and methodologies throughout my projects. I am also working as a software engineer full-time, where part of my day-to-day tasks is using Jira, Atlassian, and other project management platforms.

React

I have coursework experience in working with React and have worked on projects on my own website that I built using React, Tailwind CSS, and Three.js.

Statistics

Hi, my name is Noah. I am a recent Computer Sciences graduate. I took various courses during my time in university including but not limited to statistics I and statistics II. I have experience in hosting study sessions with peers as well as tutoring sessions with family members of mine who previously took the course at their respective universities. I have a methodical approach to understanding how to solve problems in various formats as well as techniques on how to retain the information well to better prepare for assessments. My goal is to not only help you succeed in your statistics class but also carry-over the learning skills you gain from my sessions into other coursework and tasks :)
