I have developed my knowledge in criminal justice and history through a combination of higher education, professional public safety experience, military service, and instructional leadership roles. I currently hold a Bachelor of Science degree from Columbia Southern University and am pursuing a master’s degree at Liberty University. My professional background includes experience in law enforcement, corrections, fire investigations, and public safety, which has provided me with real-world knowledge of the criminal justice system, leadership, report writing, and legal procedures. In addition to my criminal justice background, I have a strong interest in history, particularly military and American history, which has been reinforced through both academic study and my service in the United States Army.
I also have extensive experience teaching, mentoring, and working with students in structured educational environments. I previously served as a Deputy Director, Program Manager, and educator at New York Military Academy, where I mentored and instructed high school-aged cadets in leadership, discipline, accountability, and academic success. In the Army, I served as a Non-Commissioned Officer and Team Leader, where I was responsible for training and mentoring soldiers in both classroom and practical settings. My teaching experience has included working with teenagers and adults in one-on-one and group environments. My tutoring approach focuses on breaking down difficult concepts into understandable terms while adapting lessons to fit each student’s individual learning style and academic goals.
