I’d love to share a bit about my background and experiences that shape my tutoring approach. I graduated from Delaware State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Art Management, which equipped me with critical thinking and creativity. I’m also a Certified Reading Interventionist through Reading Assist Institute, and I’m currently earning my Master of Education (MEd) dual certification in Elementary and Special Education from Grand Canyon University. Additionally, I completed courses at the Sign Language Center and ISL International School of Languages, which enhance my communication with students.
Over the past year, I’ve enjoyed tutoring K-4th grade students, focusing on their reading skills using the Science of Reading method. Tailoring my approach to each student's needs has allowed me to foster a love for reading and build their literacy foundations.
Working with students aged 5 to 10 has been incredibly fulfilling, whether in one-on-one sessions or classroom environments. My experiences have underscored the importance of adaptability and creating a positive learning atmosphere. I’m passionate about supporting students on their educational journeys and strive to make every learning experience enjoyable and inspiring.
