Hi,
My name is Ayesha. I just finished an assignment for English Language Learners as a long-time substitute. Previously I have been teacher's aide for three years. I enjoy teaching and learning from kids. I try to work around the learning style of the learner. Currently, I'm enrolled in a Master's Program in Teaching English As A Second Language. I believe in making the lessons interesting and listening to the learner's feedback to make the learning experience rewarding for both of us....
Hi,
My name is Ayesha. I believe in making the lessons interesting and listening to the learner's feedback to make the learning experience rewarding for both of us.
What I like about tutoring is I get to work with children who most of the time are inquisitive about learning. I get to know about the learner as an individual. I get to know their family roots, their culture, their likes and dislikes, and their opinions about different things.
I try to first see how much prior knowledge a student has about the subject. Then I tailor my lesson to address the needs of the learner.
I try to teach grammar through easy-to-digest concepts. I stop when I see the learner needs a break.
I try to make the lesson engaging by trying to teach Urdu through stories.
I like to invite you to go on a learning journey with me. I am sure it will be a positive experience for both of us.
