I was National Student Speaker of the Year and a Copeland Award winner (US #1 overall) representing the University of Kansas prior to serving as debate coach at UNC-Chapel Hill. Notable victories include Harvard, Northwestern, Emory, Kentucky, and the National Invitational Debate Tournament.

Outstanding Debate Coach!
Zac is a gifted debater and excellent teacher. He responded quickly to my very last-minute request for help and got to work immediately. I am already a professional (PhD) with significant public speaking experience, but I had never taken part in a formal debate. Zac not only taught me tips and tricks to make the process easier, but also made meaningful contributions to the content of my argument. We thought through all the possible arguments my opponent might make, and I felt extremely prepared when on stage. Needless to say, I won my debate (by a significant margin)! In fact, he taught me skills that I plan to pass down to my college students for years to come. I could not have asked for a better or more skilled debate coach. I highly recommend him, whether for professional or school-related projects. He's absolutely the best!
