I have a strong academic background in the life sciences, with advanced training through my PhD and postdoctoral research, where I specialized in biological sciences. My education has given me a deep understanding of core biology topics such as biochemistry, molecular biology, synthetic biology and chemistry. In addition to formal degrees, I have completed multiple professional trainings and services related to science, research methods, and communication, which help me explain complex topics in a clear and organized way.

Alongside my academic training, I have several years of experience teaching and tutoring students at different levels. During my PhD and postdoctoral work, I mentored undergraduate students in research projects, helping them understand scientific concepts, experimental design, and data analysis. Many of these students went on to earn authorship on peer-reviewed publications. I have also provided one-on-one academic support to students in biology-related courses, including general biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, and chemistry working with college-level learners.

My tutoring approach is student-centered and supportive. I focus on identifying each student’s learning style and current level of understanding, then breaking topics into simple, logical steps. I encourage students to think through problems rather than memorize answers, using guiding questions, real-life examples, and practice exercises. Whether working one-on-one or in small groups, my goal is to build confidence, strengthen fundamentals, and help students become independent, successful learners.
