I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (K–6) and a Master’s degree in School Leadership from Wilmington University. I also hold the highest level of teaching certification in the state of Delaware. I have been a dedicated educator for 14 years, teaching both 1st and 5th grade, with the majority of my experience focused on 5th grade students (ages 9–11). I’ve taught in a variety of settings, including public schools, a special needs school, and online through Zoom. My classroom experience includes working with Title I students, where over 50% of my students are English Language Learners (ESL) and many are performing at least one grade level below in reading or math. I have extensive experience teaching in whole-class settings, small groups, and one-on-one formats. My instructional approach includes differentiated instruction, scaffolding, and data-informed teaching to meet each student’s needs and help them grow academically and personally. In addition to my professional work, I also volunteer as a Little League coach, where I support young athletes in building confidence, teamwork, and discipline both on and off the field.
