Hi! I’m so excited to introduce myself.
My name is Amanda, and I have been teaching for 16 years in elementary education, grades Kindergarten to 4th. I have a bachelors in elementary education and a masters in leadership. I am certified in K-6 elementary and K-12 special education. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to teach a wide range of elementary subjects, helping students build strong foundations in reading, writing, math, and science.
I’ve also implemented and led small group instruction, which is one of my favorite ways to teach, and one on one instruction. One on one teaching allows me to truly meet learners where they are, personalize instruction, and help students grow both academically and in confidence.
In addition, I have experience teaching special education. This has strengthened my ability to differentiate instruction, adapt lessons to individual learning styles, and create a supportive environment where every child feels capable and successful.
