I am a recent graduate of Drexel University with my MS/PhD in Materials Science and Engineering. My thesis topic was in synthesis chemistry. I also have my BS, where I graduated cum laude, from Temple University in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Physics.

I am a recent graduate of Drexel University with my MS/PhD in Materials Science and Engineering. My thesis topic was in synthesis chemistry. I also have my BS, where I graduated cum laude, from Temple University in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Physics.
I have experience tutoring from 3rd grade all the way up through undergraduate studies. My primary experience is working 1-on-1 with students to master, enrich, and develop their skills. I also have taught for classes up to 30 students, additionally doing things such as office hours and test prep. I have tutored many mechanical engineering (physics, statics, mechanical systems, thermodynamics) and chemistry classes at an undergraduate level, and math, chemistry, physics, and reading/writing to school-aged students.
I recognize and respect the importance of their time and work to make the most of our time together. First determining the student’s current level of understanding and reviewing background information, then moving on to example problems, and ending by letting the student practice on their own. I am happy to support students on any topics or materials they are currently working on and explore other various learning styles if needed. I am a firm believer that learning is best when students are self-motivated and taught with their individual strengths in mind.
