Hi! I’m a college student with several years of hands-on tutoring and leadership experience, and I genuinely enjoy helping students understand material in a way that actually clicks for them.

I previously worked as a tutor at Kumon, where I individually supported over 50 students between the ages of 3 and 12 in math and reading. I also served as the head of curriculum development for an Early Learning Center, which meant designing age-appropriate learning plans, adjusting instruction styles, and making sure students were progressing at a pace that challenged them without overwhelming them. On top of that, I conducted placement testing for new students and trained incoming tutors, so I’m very comfortable identifying skill gaps and tailoring lessons to each learner.

Alongside tutoring, I’ve served as a class representative in college, representing over 250 students. That role strengthened my communication skills, organization, and ability to explain complex information clearly. I regularly worked one-on-one with students to clarify course content and helped create collaborative study spaces, including a structured class Discord server.

My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and structured. I focus on building strong foundations, boosting confidence, and helping students feel comfortable asking questions. I’m especially good with younger learners and students who may feel anxious or frustrated with schoolwork.
