After completing my degree, I spent a year teaching middle school math through AmeriCorps in Miami, FL, where I worked with students in grades 6-8. Over the past 3-4 years, I have also tutored students in subjects ranging from ACT/SAT preparation to Biology, English, and Writing. Having taken the MCAT and successfully completed medical school, including all required courses and exams, I am currently a resident physician.

I am passionate about education and find joy in helping students reach their full potential. As a teacher, I am dedicated to finding innovative ways to connect with my students. Whether a student learns best visually, auditorily, or through hands-on experience, I am committed to tailoring my approach to meet their needs. I love working with students to help them achieve their learning goals and succeed in their academic pursuits, in both in-person and online environments. Supporting learners in their journeys toward achieving their dreams is something that I find deeply fulfilling, and I am excited to continue making a difference.

Having successfully navigated the path through college, graduate school, and residency applications, I understand the complexities of the admissions process. From crafting strong applications to preparing for interviews, I can help guide students through each step with a strategic, organized approach. My experience includes mentoring peers and younger students, where I’ve helped them align their strengths and goals with the right academic opportunities. I especially enjoy making the process less overwhelming by breaking it down into manageable steps.

Elementary (K-6th)

I began teaching right after college, working as a middle school mathematics teacher where I provided both classroom instruction and small-group interventions. I developed creative approaches to help struggling students, such as acting out problems, breaking concepts into steps, and tailoring lessons to each child’s daily life to make learning more memorable. Watching my students grow, improve, and gain confidence was incredibly rewarding, and it solidified my passion for teaching. I enjoy working with younger students and believe in building both academic skills and self-confidence in a supportive environment.
