What do I tutor?
Phonetics. It's what I have the most experience in and passion for. I have taught private voice lessons, accent reduction, and did phonetic transcriptions and seminars for opera singers and choirs in languages such as Czech, Old Spanish, Russian, German Latin, Middle English, and Brazilian Portuguese. What do I tutor?

Introductory linguistics. I currently have a 4.0GPA and have taken classes on phonetics, phonology, grammar, sociolinguistics, historical linguistics, semantics and pragmatics, lexicology, second language acquisition, foreign language education, acoustics, and anatomy and physiology of the voice.
Language learning. My bachelors was in Spanish education. I was a certified Spanish and ESL teacher. I taught Spanish, French, a class on phonetics and language learning, Dual Language (Spanish) social studies, and ESL social studies. Additionally, I have tutored private students in language-learning methods for learners of Spanish, English, Korean, Turkish, and German. I, myself, have studied Spanish most extensively, French (B2), Swedish (B2), Brazilian Portuguese, Modern Hebrew (Dalet-level), Uyghur, Mandarin (HSK4), and Turkish. I have not tested Portuguese, Uyghur, nor Turkish.
How am I as a tutor?
I can be theatrical and silly, but I am also discerning and sensitive to what makes you most comfortable. I'm very spontaneous and I tend to make plans so that I don't get too carried away. Don't hesitate to let me know how I can adjust to be the best tutor I can be for you.

Accent reduction. I have worked on English with students who spoke Mandarin, Japanese, Spanish, and Turkish. I have also helped speakers of English, French, and Turkish with Spanish. I have knowledge of a few accents in English and Spanish, but I am not a dialect coach.
