I am a certified math teacher in Washington, DC, with a Psychology background from Harvard and a Master’s in Teaching and Teacher Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education. In my in-person classroom, I regularly work with students with ADHD, helping them strengthen executive functioning skills such as organization, time management, task initiation, goal setting, and self-monitoring. I have also coached and tutored students with ADHD one-on-one, creating individualized systems, visual planners, checklists, and reflection tools to help them stay focused, manage distractions, and break down complex assignments. My approach emphasizes student ownership, consistent accountability, and strengths-based strategies to build independence, confidence, and long-term academic success.

I studied Psychology and Education at Harvard College and received my Master's in Teaching and Teacher Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education. I am a certified math teacher currently teaching middle school math in DC! I have over 12 years of experience teaching math in all grade levels (K-College). I am looking forward to working with you!

Executive Functioning

I studied Psychology at Harvard and have spent the last 5 years tutoring and coaching multiple students in building executive functioning skills such as organization, time management, task initiation, goal setting, and self-monitoring using research-based strategies and individualized systems. My work focuses on helping students develop sustainable routines by utilizing visual planners, checklist systems, and time management strategies (e.g., Pomodoro and time estimation) to break down complex tasks into manageable actions. Through consistent coaching, reflection, and accountability, students strengthen independence, follow-through, and academic confidence.
