Hello, I’m an honors aerospace engineering graduate and a practicing engineer with experience spanning scientific research, national defense testing, and federal aviation programs. My goal is to help students truly understand math, physics, and engineering concepts so they can perform confidently in both class and extracurricular activities to boost their resume.
I earned my aerospace engineering degree with honors and even received a foundation aerospace cash award for academic excellence. My research background includes award-winning work in hypersonic aerodynamics, with published research in hypersonic flow physics, space human factors, and high-powered laser measurement techniques. I have worked at one of the most advanced hypersonic wind tunnel facilities in the world supporting Department of Defense programs for about two years.
As for my teaching experience, I have been private tutoring since 2019, offering all levels of math and physics (up to college level for the first 5 years). I have led my own 7th and 8th grade algebra summer class at a charter school. During my college years, I was a Physics 2 & 3 teaching assistant, where I helped students with homework, administered and graded quizzes, and held study sessions. I have also taught K-12 math at Mathnasium for a few months.
I currently work as a project manager and general engineer for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), where I apply engineering principles to real-world aviation systems, safety, and decision-making. This combination of deep technical training and practical application shapes how I teach. Furthermore, I hope to cultivate a student-mentor relationship and help them navigate side projects, resume building, college applications, and internships.
I offer tutoring for all levels of math up to college level differential equations, general physics, chemistry, and computer science.
