Hi! My name is Gabrielle, and I’m an experienced educator with a strong background in elementary math and literacy. I currently work in math intervention, supporting students in grades 1–5 and helping them strengthen foundational skills, close learning gaps, and build confidence in math.
I majored in Elementary Mathematics in college and have been teaching math for the past several years. I’ve worked with students at a variety of learning levels and understand that every child learns differently. My approach is to identify exactly where a student is struggling, fill in those foundational gaps, and then help them connect those skills to their current grade-level work.
In addition to math, I have experience teaching phonics and supporting students with reading. I’ve also worked in tutoring programs, childcare, camps, and as a nanny, giving me experience caring for and working with children from infancy through elementary school.
I truly enjoy helping children learn and watching their confidence grow as they begin to understand concepts that once felt difficult. Whether your child needs extra support with math, reading, foundational skills, or simply needs a little more one-on-one attention, I would love to help!
