Hi! I am currently living and working in Washington, DC and am looking to tutor kids and adults in French. I began studying French 13 years ago in middle school and continued on to major in French in college. As a junior in college, I studied abroad for a year, taking classes in French at the Université d'Avignon and the Institut Catholique de Paris. As a senior in college, I wrote a 20 page thesis in French regarding French literature and how the mother/daughter relationship is portrayed in multiple novels. Following graduation, I received a grant from the French Government to teach English in Laval (about an hour and a half outside of Paris). While I was there, even though I was teaching English, I was using my French every day and became truly fluent.
I would love to continue using my French and teaching skills through tutoring! Happy to tutor people at any age and any level. If you are in school, I'd be happy to help with homework and studying, but if you just want to perfect or enhance your French, happy to bring my own teaching books!
