Currently, I teach Biomedical Science, Environmental Science, and Sustainable Urban Agriculture, subjects that are not only academically challenging but also deeply relevant to today’s world.
My extensive experience working with Title 1-funded schools over the past 15 years has equipped me to provide the extra support many students need to succeed. I understand the challenges of teaching in these environments and have developed strategies to help students thrive, both in and out of the classroom. My approach is student-centered, focusing on building confidence, understanding, and a genuine interest in the subjects I teach.
In addition to my classroom teaching, I tutor students twice a week at my current school, offering personalized support to help them master complex concepts in science and improve their reading comprehension skills. My goal as a tutor is to inspire a love of learning, foster curiosity, and help students develop the critical thinking skills they need to excel academically and beyond.
